About Jacqueline Charmane and Becoming Esther

Jacqueline Charmane is a passionate designer, author, and advocate whose journey is rooted in a legacy of nurturing and empowerment. Inspired by her mother’s dedication to raising strong, confident young women, Jacqueline developed a love for creativity and life skills from an early age—learning to sew, cook, and lead with purpose.

She is the founder of The JC Collection, a fashion design business that blends style with storytelling. Through her designs, Jacqueline expresses themes of strength, identity, and resilience. Her creative vision extends beyond fashion into the literary world, where she has authored impactful books addressing topics such as abstinence and domestic violence. Her beloved character, Chickypooh, serves as a voice for young women navigating life’s challenges with courage and self-worth.

As Creative Director and Community Educator, Jacqueline brings her artistic talents and heartfelt advocacy to programs that inspire, educate, and uplift. Her work continues to empower the next generation to embrace their uniqueness, speak their truth, and walk boldly in their purpose.
