EMPOWERING GIRLS THROUGH A HEALTHY JOURNEY FROM PUBERTY TO WOMANHOOD
Woodmill Corporate Center, Wilmington, DE 19808
Jacqueline Charmane Founder,
Certified Grief Counselor and Suicide Interventionist
Jacqueline Charmane is the product of her late mother’s love for helping girls develop into “sugar and spice and everything nice.” At age 5, Jacqueline was the youngest member of their small-town 4-H. She began learning to sew, set a table, clean, and cook. As she matured, her mother enrolled her in etiquette classes to continue her training.
After graduating from college, Jacqueline followed her passion for sewing by starting her fashion design business, The JC Collection. Under the same business, she authored seven realistic fictional books narrated by her registered character, Chickypooh. Books such as Don’t Blame It On The Kitty (abstinence), and The Bully Who Sleeps With My Mommy (domestic violence), etc.
In 2015, Jacqueline trained in suicide intervention through the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). In 2021, Jacqueline furthered her career goals by studying with the American Institute of Health Care Professional (AIHCP) to become a Certified Grief Counselor (GC-C).
In 2021, Jacqueline began using her book, PU! What’s That Smell to teach girls proper hygiene. In 2023, she took the program international to St. Vincent Island (The Grenadine). This was the official beginning of Becoming Esther. The program has evolved into over 100 registered girls.

What We Do
The underdevelopment of a girl because of the simple fact of the lack of knowledge and understanding of her genetic makeup is a growing concern in this and other nations. It has become common for girls to gather what should be considered valuable feminine information from unauthorized sources. Therefore, girls live with inadequate knowledge to help guide them into having positive womanhood expectations and experiences.
Becoming Esther, Inc. has a genuine love for feminine development; therefore, we provide a sincere and compassionate pathway for girls to develop with proper appreciation and without regrets about their sexual orientation. We map a healthy journey for the girls, which takes them through puberty, adolescence, and maturity and into an exceptional womanhood.
Our training and resources, combined with the many collaborations and partnerships make Becoming Esther a sought-after alternative for feminine development.
